Marvel Rivals Announces Season 4 Details and PS4 Version

Marvel Rivals Seasons 4: Heart of the Dragon has officially revealed all its details, along with a new supported gaming console. The upcoming season marks the end of three successful runs from Marvel and NetEase. In particular, players can expect new heroes, features, team-ups, modes, special events, and quality-of-life improvements.

Angela and Daredevil Join the Battle

According to an official Marvel announcement, Season 4 introduces Daredevil. Likewise, he will be the ruler of the Eighth City known as Dizang. Dubbed as the Man Without Fear, Daredevil functions as a Duelist. The developers have not yet revealed his abilities. However, some expect his strengths to include a high-mobility, close-range playstyle. Even so, it is confirmed that the character has a deep connection to the game’s story. At the same time, he is likely to shake up team dynamics.

Likewise, GameRant reports that Heart of the Dragon will kick off with Asgardian warrior Angela. She is also the first flying Vanguard-class hero in the game. More specifically, Angela uses Ichor fluid that changes into different weapons. Some possible transformations include spear, shield, and dual axes. Also, this warrior works as a reliable tank option due to her aerial combat style and defensive abilities.

Story Expands in K’un-Lun

As per Final Weapon, the new season focuses on the mystical city of K’un-lun. Following the Timestream Entanglement, the Capitals of Heaven are drawn into one realm. Angela wants Hela to pay for her betrayal, while Daredevil stands as the guardian of the realm. Meanwhile, Doctor Doom’s evil plot to steal the Immortal Dragon Shou-Lao’s Chronal Chi poses a serious threat to all of Heaven. Now, the fate of K’un-Lun rests on its heroes.

New Maps, Modes, and Improvements

Along with the new heroes and an extended story, Season 4 of Marvel Rivals will introduce the Heart of Heaven convergence mode map. It expands the battleground options in the game.

Clone Rumble and Giant-Size Brain Blast are now permanents, revamping the Arcade mode. This time around, the game modes include Conquest, Doom Match, and Free Fight. Plus, players can access multiple modes at once.

Other additions are Team-Up ability, Favorites Bar, and more.

PlayStation 4 Version Launch

NetEase Games is releasing Heart of the Dragon to PlayStation 4 on day one. The new platform could introduce the game to more players. Meanwhile, fans expect the developers to roll out the game to Nintendo Switch 2 soon.
