Adidas Originals, Edison Chen Launch CLOT Silk Gazelle Collection

Adidas Originals and fashion designer Edison Chen introduce the CLOT Silk Gazelle and apparel capsule collection. The upcoming release marks the next chapter of the collaboration between the sportswear giant and the leading cultural force.

The offerings effortlessly fuse Heritage Americana and classic sportswear elements with distinct Eastern influences. At the same time, the latest collection of footwear and apparel features vibrant colors and luxurious materials. Consequently, they embody CLOT’s mission to unite East and West through intentionally inspired design.

Footwear and Apparel

The partnership between the German athletic brand and fashion designer paved the way for reinvented Gazelle shoes. More specifically, they are ready to introduce two refined and sophisticated iterations.

One of which is the White Silk Gazelle version, which integrates CLOT’s signature Silk Royale pattern. It also includes a lavish white silk upper. On the other hand, there is the Blue Silk Gazelle, which showcases a rich, elegant blue with a sleek texture.

According to an Adidas press release, “Both colorways blend classic elegance with modern craftsmanship, elevated by a premium suede build, gold-tipped laces, and a stylish crepe sole.”

In line with the collaboration, the new footwear comes with an accompanying apparel capsule. It mainly includes a CLOT Bowling Shirt and Knit Short. Both products boast freshness and distinction through their crochet detailing. Moreover, bold colors and luxurious materials pair with impeccable detailing and seamlessly come together. This apparel collection is exquisitely refined yet effortlessly wearable.

Ever since Chen founded CLOT in 2003, he remained dedicated to connecting the East and the West through thoughtfully designed products. His brand takes its Chinese origins to the global scene, mirroring the new youth of Asia in his works.

The CLOT Silk Gazelle footwear will go on sale on April 19. Chen’s apparel collection will be available on the CONFIRMED app starting April 14.
