Skullcandy Works with Bose to Make Method 360 ANC Earbuds

Skullcandy is officially rolling out the all-new Method 360 ANC wireless earbuds. The latest product is a collaboration with its rival in the market — Bose.

More specifically, the partnership between the two earbud manufacturers is part of the Sound by Bose platform, wherein the headphone maker assists other brands. In line with this, Bose helped Skullcandy tune the device to bring a high-fidelity audio experience defined by clarity of sound and depth of range.

Additionally, the Method 360 ANC utilizes the same ear tips as Bose’s QuietComfort series. While the sound quality is not as great as the QuietComfort Ultra earbuds, the relatively cheap price tag is a deal-maker.

Nevertheless, the company claims that it is their best-sounding earbuds to date. However, the product is also the most expensive offering of the brand (again, still cheaper than most brands out there).

Custom Comfort Meets Smart, Powerful Features

According to Andrew Liszewski of The Verge, Method 360 ANC has three various ear gels and fit fins. These different sizes comfortably keep the earbuds in place and achieve superior noise cancellation.

Skullcandy’s new earbuds also feature the Skull-iQ app, where owners can make EQ adjustments. At the same time, it enables reconfiguring buttons and changing ANC modes, Lawrence Bonk of Engadget reports.

Furthermore, the product supports Google Fast Pair and Spotify Tap. Featuring wear detection, it automatically connects the earbud to a device and pauses playback when you take it out of your ears. On top of this, it has a multipoint pairing, which makes switching between devices easier.

In terms of its charging case, it definitely does not have the most ideal size. However, it makes up for it with its sliding clamshell design, which extends battery life. With the earbuds turned on, battery life reaches 32 hours.

The new earbuds have five colorways, including bone, plasma, black, leopard, and primer.

Skullcandy’s Method 360 ANC has a $99.99 introductory price but will later spike to $129.99.
