Miley Cyrus officially announced her highly-anticipated album Something Beautiful. Reports say it is an audio-visual offering by the Hannah Montana actress.
The proper unveiling of the project follows her singles and feature releases in the last two years. At the same time, this is Cyrus’ latest album since Endless Summer Vacation in 2023. It will also become the ninth studio album in her music career.
Cyrus herself revealed the information on her Instagram account. The post featured the official cover art, which fashion photographer Glen Luchford captured. It presents the singer covered in archival 1997 Thierry Mugler couture. In the announcement, she mentioned that the cover is a nod to “the album’s bold aesthetic and visual storytelling.”
While there is only a few information available, Cyrus mentioned that the upcoming album includes 13 original songs. Moreover, she and Shawn Everett are the executive producers for the project.
According to Variety, the album will be available for preorder in several formats.
Something Beautiful is set to drop on May 30 via Columbia Records.
