Eminem’s ex-wife Kim Scott has warrant out for her arrest after missing DUI hearing

A warrant has been issued for Kim Scott, the ex-wife of musician and rapper Eminem, after she failed to appear for a scheduled DUI hearing in Macomb County District Court in Michigan.

Judge William H. Hackel III was set to preside over the hearing, but Scott did not appear. According to Page Six, she had not been arrested as of Wednesday afternoon, June 24. Her bond has been set at $10,000.

Scott was arrested on May 14 and booked into the Macomb County Jail in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, on suspicion of DUI. Detective Sgt. Joseph Feld of the Chesterfield Township Police Department told TMZ that Scott struck another vehicle while driving near Detroit the night before her arrest.

No injuries were reported, and authorities were unable to determine where she was headed at the time of the crash.

A booking photo released after her arrest showed Scott smiling and appearing noticeably different from her previous public appearances. She was released shortly after being processed.

Prior offenses and court appearance

Three days before her May arrest, Scott appeared in court on separate charges. She pleaded no contest to impaired driving and failure to report an accident stemming from an incident in February.

Authorities alleged Scott crashed into a parked vehicle while accompanied by her son Parker and several of his friends.

Neighbors told TMZ that rather than stopping, Scott drove home and later crashed into her own garage door. She was taken to a hospital and treated for minor injuries.

Bodycam footage from the scene reportedly showed bottles containing soda mixed with alcohol inside her vehicle. Scott was also seen taking a breathalyzer test.

Inside her relationship with Eminem

Scott, formerly known as Kim Mathers, has long remained in the public eye because of her turbulent relationship with Eminem.

The pair married in 1999 before divorcing in 2001. They remarried briefly in January 2006, but Eminem filed for divorce three months later.

They share one biological daughter, Hailie Jade Mathers, now 30. Eminem also adopted Scott’s niece, Alaina Marie Scott, 33, and Scott’s child from another relationship, Stevie Laine Scott, 24.

Following her final divorce from Eminem, Kim welcomed her youngest son, Parker.

With the bench warrant now active, Kim faces legal challenges in multiple cases.

Under Michigan law, failing to appear in court can result in a separate misdemeanor charge, additional fines and potential jail time on top of penalties related to the underlying offense.

Michigan also has no statute of limitations for failure-to-appear violations, meaning Kim must either surrender voluntarily or face arrest whenever law enforcement locates her.
