Netflix Drops ‘Revelations’ Teaser: Yeon Sang-ho’s Thriller Goes Viral

Netflix recently released the official teaser trailer for Revelations, and it is going viral in a flash. Within approximately 24 hours of its premiere, the teaser has already garnered thousands of views.

More specifically, the teaser of Revelations reveals that Ryu Jun Yeol’s character, Pastor Sung Min Chan, is a righteous individual. On the other hand, Detective Lee Yeon Hee, played by Shin Hyun Been, is constantly haunted by visions of his dead sister. Meanwhile, the role of Shin Min Jae as Kwon Yang Rae is a former convict, who becomes a primary suspect.

Based on the report from the streaming platform, the film is an offering by director Yeon Sang-ho, who crafted Train to Busan. Also, he is well-recognized for creating stories that tackle human nature with social commentary.

At the same time, Revelations is another collaboration between Yeon and writer Choi Gyu-seok. The two have worked together in the past for Hellbound. In line with this, Oscar-winning director Alfonso Cuarón, who led Roma and Gravity, joined the production as executive producer.
