Marvel and Sony officially announced the two upcoming Spider-Man films and have already set release dates. The confirmation, which delighted millions of fans of the friendly neighborhood superhero, happened at the CinemaCon 2025. As per the announcement, the titles to watch out for are Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day
During the CinemaCon, Tom Holland appeared via video to share his excitement and disclose a few details about the film. Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be the highly anticipated fourth installment of his Marvel superhero stint. In line with this, Holland shared that it will be a new beginning for Peter Parker after the tragic events in No Way Home, Sophie Caraan of Hypebeast reports.
Director Destin Daniel Cretton will be directing the next cinematic adventure of the amazing web-slinger.
“I’m spending my time exploring the next stage of this amazing character with a team of the most incredible artists in the world,” said Cretton as reported by William Shammah via Marvel.
Also, Cretton teased fans that the team is already brainstorming about the suit and how Spider-Man swings. Further, he emphasized that they want to create an emotional story that will provide a unique experience for the viewers.
Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse
The much-awaited conclusion to the Oscar-winning Spider-Verse trilogy of Sony is finally coming to the big screen. Prior to the latest announcement, the film encountered significant delays due to animation challenges and high standards set by its predecessors.
In connection, Phil Lord and Chris Miller, who are the producers and writers, mentioned that they want to ensure the film will meet expectations. Also, they revealed a first glimpse at the upcoming movie during the event, says Adelle Ki of Hypebeast.
Moreover, director Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson will team up to create Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse willpremiere on July 31, 2026, and June 4, 2027, respectively.
There’s something almost embarrassing about how completely Age of Wonders 4 absorbed me, and I say that as someone who has occasionally made dinner while listening to a podcast about the economic systems of Baldur’s Gate. It’s the kind of game that makes you forget what time it is and what day it is. It offers the same thing every fantasy game promises: power, glory, conquest. But it also gives you something we rarely admit we want, control.
Because that’s really what’s on offer in Age of Wonders 4. Not just the ability to create your own empire but to sculpt it morally, magically, and aesthetically from the bones out. Do you want to lead a clan of celestial toads with feudal values and a dark affinity for necromancy? Go ahead. The game will not only let you, it will reward you. And then, you’ll spend 90 minutes adjusting your banner colours.
Customization
It’s tempting to see AoW4 as the ultimate sandbox, a glorious ode to self-expression. But let’s be honest. There’s a fine line between creativity and neurosis. I crossed it when I spent ten minutes deciding whether my mole-people overlords should be “Shadow Affinity” or “Order Affinity.” (They chose Order. They always choose Order.)
The truth is that total freedom can be profoundly overwhelming. We say we want to build our worlds, but we often really want the world to affirm the decisions we’ve already made about ourselves quietly. AoW4 knows this. It hands you infinite levers to pull, then softly nudges you into believing every lever matters. Even the ones that don’t.
AI Is Fine
Every strategy game has to grapple with the fundamental contradiction of its genre: the brighter the AI, the less fun you’re likely to have. Age of Wonders 4 skirts this by making its AI smart enough to feel threatening but not so clever as to dismantle your fantasy of superiority. Your magical badger-people will, mostly, win. And when they don’t, it’ll be because you chose to take a risk, not because the AI outplayed you.
This illusion works best when you don’t look directly at it. It is like dating someone who seems really into you but never asks how your day was. You could ruin it by asking questions. But why would you? You’re winning. You’re fine.
Fantasy as Therapy
There’s a more profound emotional current running under AoW4 that’s easy to miss: the fantasy of leadership without compromise. In real life, being in charge means emails, politics, andburnout. It means clicking a button and watching an entire species develop a shared belief system. Want to outlaw magic? Legalize goblins? Declare war on elves for being smug? You can do all of that. You can do anything, and it will feel good.
This is not unlike the recent wave of “self-partnered“ and “girlbossing alone“ content online. It’s power as escapism, not to dominate others, but to be free of them. In AoW4, no one questions your vision. Your goblin army does not unionize. Your frog-mage does not want to “circle back“ on last quarter’s arcane projections. It’s peace disguised as conquest.
And Yet, I Played for 40 Hours
What Age of Wonders 4 ultimately reveals, perhaps more than it means to, is how seductive the fantasy of neatness is of a world that responds to your input with satisfying, symmetrical feedback. The world you shape is one where actions have immediate consequences, and outcomes are always your own.
This is, of course, not how real life works. But it’s precisely how Age of Wonders 4 works. It’s not just a strategy game. It’s a balm. It’s therapy for the quietly frazzled. The mid-30s overachiever. The spreadsheet is romantic. The fantasy girlboss of the tactical underworld.
TAG Heuer is reintroducing the classic Formula 1 watch lineup, this time in a new Solargraph collection. The Maison announced the return of the OG timepieces at the Watches & Wonders Geneva 2025.
Starting as a limited edition in its revival last May, the Formula 1 timepiece is now back for good. The decision came as a result of continuous demand and consideration of its previous run in the market, wherein it sold the entire 1,350 pieces in a flash.
Moreover, TAG Heuer’s reintroduction of the iconic watches is part of the celebration of its rich heritage of precision, innovation, and all things motorsport.
Build, Design, and Aesthetic
This time, TAG Heuer honors the watches’ 1980s roots but improves them with modern elements, Zoe Leung of Hypebeast reports.
The Swiss luxury watchmaker unveils nine dynamic new references for the Formula 1 lineup. Three announced references are deep blue, black and white, and bold red while the other six are limited editions, says Oren Hartov of GQ.
More specifically, the three classic colorways comes with steel bracelets. On the other hand, the remaining six references feature vibrant color combinations. Furthermore, each watch has an option for an alternative bracelet. The selection includes a rubber racing strap, embossed rubber strap, or a redesigned steel bracelet.
With regards to it being a solargraph collection, the timepieces utilize TAG Heuer’s Calibre TH50-00 Solargraph movement. It is a quartz engine that completes a full-day charge through two minutes of sunlight. On top of that, the battery of the movement can last up to 15 years.
In addition, the collection features a 38mm case size with enhanced finishes for exceptional refinement and comfort. It also integrates the history of the Maison’s partnership with Formula 1, solidifying its place in the field.
The TAG Heuer reimagined 80s classic Formula 1 collection will be on sale throughout the Formula 1 season for roughly $2,000.
Microsoft is expanding its Artificial Intelligence (AI) features, or what it calls Copilot+ PC experiences. These upgrades are part of the continuous evolution of the Copilot+ PC portfolio.
After a year since the introduction of the top-tier Windows PCs, the tech giant is now making its AI features widely accessible. The updates will be available on devices powered by AMD and Intel chips. More specifically, the laptops must be equipped with AMD Ryzen AI 300 series, Intel Core Ultra 200V, and Snapdragon X Series processors.
According to Microsoft, it is combining advanced hardware with intelligent software to push customers to do and achieve more. After all, the Windows maker claims that Copilot+ PCs are the future.
Based on an official article by the company, notable new features elevate experiences when using Copilot+ PCs.
Accessibility Features
Microsoft is revolutionizing how individuals interact with their devices, specifically to assist those challenged with functional impairments.
One of the updates is Live Captions, which is now available on Copilot+ PCs with AMD and Intel chips. The feature delivers real-time translations in English for audio and video media. Users can access this tool during video playback, virtual meetings, or podcasts.
In addition, Microsoft is introducing the first Voice Access to include NPU capabilities on Copilot+ PCs. With the update, customers can communicate with their laptops using more flexible and descriptive language when accessing the feature on Snapdragon X Series devices.
AI-Enabled Features
Individuals can now make image enhancement and artistic creation more intuitive and smoother using Cocreator in Paint. The Cocreator feature allows users to merge freehand drawing with text-based prompts to produce comprehensive artworks, designs, and visuals.
Moreover, Microsoft is launching Restyle Image and Image Creator in Photos. These upgrades help users to unleash their creativity. More concretely, these allow them to turn images into artistic interpretations and transform detailed written prompts into different visuals.
The availability of the expanded Microsoft Copilot+ PC experiences varies by device and region. Nevertheless, some features are already accessible via the March 2025 Windows non-security preview update.
Let’s get one thing out of the way: growing up with a Mac in the 1990s felt, at times, like being at the wrong party. Everyone else was deep into DOOM and Command & Conquer, and you were hovering in the corner with a fruit-logoed machine that could barely run SimCity 2000 without the screen going grey. And yet, for all its limitations, the ’90s Mac was a portal not to the slick, graphics-heavy world of your Windows-using peers, but to something weirder, more imaginative, more cerebral. And yes, sometimes accidentally brilliant.
It’s a bit like the heterosexual relationship discourse, actually (stay with me): when the dominant thing on offer is flawed and inaccessible (i.e. PC games requiring a DOS prompt and a prayer), you start finding strange beauty in the alternatives. So here’s to the golden era of Mac gaming — a nostalgic list, but also a meditation on the strange joy of making do with what you’ve got, and sometimes loving it more because of that.
Best Mac Games from the 1990s
1. Marathon (1994)
Before Halo and Master Chief were Microsoft’s poster boys, Bungie made Marathon. a grungy, cerebral first-person shooter set in deep space. It was violent, yes, but also philosophical, with AI characters waxing poetic about time and memory in between shooting aliens. It’s the kind of game that made you feel clever for playing it, or at least clever-adjacent.
Playing Marathon as a kid was like getting a grimdark future you didn’t fully understand but pretended you did. It felt adult, and therefore important. There was lore. There were terminals. There were moral dilemmas hidden behind walls of cryptic text. Also: you could dual-wield pistols.
2. Myst (1993)
If Marathon made you feel smart, Myst made you feel lost. But in a good way, like wandering through a dream you’re not sure you belong in. It wasn’t a game so much as an ambient puzzle box, where nothing chased you and everything was suspiciously quiet.
People today talk about mindfulness and slow living. In 1993, we had Myst. It was the original “don’t talk to me, I’m in a vibe” game. Sure, you spent a lot of time wondering what to click, but that was part of the deal. It didn’t care if you were bored. That was the aesthetic.
3. Escape Velocity (1996)
There was a time when every Mac-using 12-year-old dreamed of becoming a space smuggler. Escape Velocity made that happen, with pixelated planets, simple diplomacy, and a gloriously open-ended structure that let you go full Han Solo if that was your vibe.
This was the game that taught a generation of Mac kids about trade economies, empire-building, and moral ambiguity. It also taught us that sometimes, you get pulled out of hyperspace and obliterated by pirates, and that’s just life.
4. Prince of Persia
Technically an ’80s game, but it hit different on a Mac in 1992. Prince of Persia was a lesson in patience, precision, and the soul-crushing frustration of dying 30 seconds before rescuing the princess. It was minimalist, brutal, and oddly beautiful.
Also: the rotoscoped animation was hypnotic. You didn’t “play” this game so much as struggle against it, with all the grace of someone trying to do ballet while dodging falling spikes. But when you pulled it off when you finally beat the damn thing it felt spiritual.
5. The Oregon Trail (Mac edition)
A rite of passage. Not strictly a Mac-exclusive, but the Mac version had that crisp black-and-white aesthetic that made dysentery feel like an art film. It was educational, allegedly, but mostly it taught us that life was fragile and buffalo were hard to shoot.
The real genius of Oregon Trail was that it didn’t try to be fun. It was about grim consequences. It was also about how Jenny broke her leg, the wagon tipped over, and you’re all going to starve. A proto-roguelike, if you want to sound fancy.
So what was the point of ’90s Mac gaming?
Well, that’s just it. It wasn’t about being the best. It was about being different. Mac games didn’t ask you to win they asked you to think. Or wander. Or fail in interesting ways. They were art-house cinema to the PC’s blockbuster lineup.
Much like being “self-partnered” or going “boysober” in today’s dating discourse, Mac gaming in the ’90s was less about competition and more about vibes. You didn’t have everything but you had something. Something strange, beautiful, and just buggy enough to make you feel like you were hacking the system by playing at all.
Yes. Kind of. But the experience now feels like walking into your childhood bedroom and realizing your parents turned it into a storage space. The bones are still there. But something’s different, and maybe it’s you.
I didn’t expect to fall back into Big Fish games, but there I was, typing in Mystery Case Files: Ravenhearst on my MacBook like it was 2009. I’d had a weirdly strong memory of the music, the clicking, the tiny rush of solving hidden object puzzles late at night. I wanted to feel that again, the low-stakes satisfaction of finishing something small and silly. But instead of a game, I got an error message. And then another. And then a rabbit hole.
So, can you still play Big Fish games on Mac? You can. But it’s not simple, and depending on how new your machine is, it might not be worth the fight.
What Actually Happened with Big Fish?
So, Apple ended support for 32-bit apps in 2019, and Big Fish didn’t keep up.
The macOS Catalina update was meant to push things forward. Faster, cleaner, and I’d say better security. But it also quietly broke a whole generation of games. Anything built in 32-bit just stopped working, overnight. No warning. Absolute nada. And a huge portion of Big Fish’s catalogue is exactly that, old, charming 32-bit games that now sit like ghosts in your purchase history.
If your Mac hasn’t been updated past Mojave (macOS 10.14), then you’re fine. You’re living in the past, and for Big Fish games, that’s the best place to be. Everything works. No drama.
But if you’ve updated? You’re going to start hitting walls.
What Can I Still Play?
There are still some 64-bit titles in the Big Fish store. They don’t shout about it, but they exist, mostly newer hidden object games and a few time management ones. Not much, but enough for a weekend.
A few examples that still work:
Grim Tales: The Legacy
Dark Parables: The Final Cinderella
Living Legends: Ice Rose
You’ll need the Big Fish Game Manager, which is still supported on Mac, but even that feels like it’s running on borrowed time.
Could you run Windows on your Mac and play anything you want? Technically, yes. But now you’re managing emulators or paying for Parallels or booting into a different OS just to play Midnight Castle. If that sounds exhausting, it’s because it is. That’s no longer casual gaming. That’s a mission.
The game of Solitaire is iconic. From early PC games, Solitaire has established itself as one of the go-to games when you want to speed up waiting around at work or have some fun on your lunch break at school. It could be one of the best puzzle games for Mac.
So, is it available on Mac computers? In short, it’s not in the pre-installed version of a Mac. However, there are great options if you want to install it from the App Store, including great free and paid versions. Some of these games include in-app purchases if you’re looking to upgrade to an ad-free or beefier version of the game.
Best Solitaire Games for Apple Mac
Full Deck Solitaire
This version of Solitaire is great for Mac players as it offers over 70 variations of Solitaire with adjustable difficulty levels, making it suitable for both beginners and those who love a good challenge. It’s currently free on the app store and is developed by GRL Games, who have also made other Solitaire games like 60-minute Solitaire.
Solitaire Grand Harvest is a twist on the original; it’s great for engaging the mind while exploring different aspects of playing games. For example, through various Solitaire levels within the game, the player goes through the levels to build the farm of their dreams. It’s different but exciting, giving more depth to the original.
Microsoft Solitaire Collection
Believe it or not, the classic Microsoft Solitaire collection is widely available for Mac computers. Yes, it’s the go-to for fanatics of the original Solitaire. Within the collection you have many options including:
Klondike Solitaire: Clear cards from the table with one or three-card draw Play Traditional or Vegas Scoring.
Spider Solitaire: Clear all eight (8) columns in the fewest moves. Play single suit or challenge yourself with all four (4) suits
FreeCell Solitaire: Use four free cell spaces to move cards and clear them from the table. Succeed by thinking several moves ahead
Alongside those other great games within the collection, they are available on this app.
Talking about the game one gamer stated ” only recently discovered this game site and I have become addicted!! So many games are just too easy/too hard I love that each card game has several levels to suit people’s different abilities. Also excellent is the “How to play” section which taught me how to play Klondike which turned out to be easy to learn and an enjoyable game.”
So, which one Solitaire will you learn how to play on your Mac computer?
Hiking Patrol is nearing the release of its latest collection and its Diemme sneaker collaboration for Spring/Summer 2025. Designed for the warmer days ahead, the lifestyle brand’s latest offerings are dapper, sleek, protective, and lightweight. At the same time, they both represent the cyclic nature of life.

The SS25 collection of the outdoor lifestyle label mirrors the constant shifting and renewal of life and fashion. With the title Transition, it reflects the dynamic seasonal changes.
“This collection name acknowledges natural patterns reflected in human experiences and creativity, emphasizing the progression and evolution in how we live, grow, and express ourselves,” Hiking Patrol states.
From a deeper perspective, Transition displays the brand’s flexibility, adaptability, and dedication to evolving with its consumers and audience.
In addition, the title implies a smooth style progression in tune with the rhythms of the earth. It embodies the spirit of transformation and invites wearers to embrace change.
According to Dylan Kelly of Hypebeast, the collection showcases a muted color scheme. It offers a variety of technical shirts, pants, and shorts. Initially unveiled a few weeks earlier this month, the sneaker includes a solid mohawk suede design for a monochrome finish, Dylan Kelly of Hypebeast reports.
Similar in essence to the garments collection, the shoe draws parallels between fashion evolution and seasonal transitions. Furthermore, the footwear collaboration will come in pink, black, and off-white colorways.
Hiking Patrol’s SS25 collection arrives April 1 in its online store and select retail partners. The Diemme sneaker collaboration launches on April 8.
Samsung is launching its newest advanced vacuum cleaner, the Bespoke AI Jet Ultra. The company announced the rollout today, following its unveiling at the Welcome to Bespoke AI global event earlier this month.
With new features on its frontline, the product builds on the smart home cleaning appliances leadership of the Korean electronics manufacturer. Accordingly, the company claims it is the “World’s most powerful cordless stick vacuum cleaner.”
In line with this, the predecessor of the cleaning equipment achieved the first UL verification in the world. For this reason, the people behind Samsung are optimistic about the product’s market success.
“…we’re confident that this new model will be a true game changer in the global market,” R&D Head and EVP Jeong Seung Moon said in a press release.
Based on the article, the electronics giant highlighted three main features of the Bespoke AI Jet Ultra, which hopefully resonate with consumers.
Remarkable Suction Power
Thanks to its HexaJet Motor, the AI Jet Ultra is reliable in any cleaning task as it offers up to 400W of suction power. Its unique motor component enhanced airflow, improved motor efficiency, and optimized battery consumption.
Smart Cleaning with AI Features
The vacuum also includes the upgraded AI Cleaning Mode 2.0. Through this, it can adjust cleaning performance to different environments and situations.
Moreover, using the SmartThings app, consumers can customize the vacuum cleaner. They can set it to show notifications when there are incoming calls or texts in the LCD control panel.
Innovative Filtration System
Samsung integrated the advanced HEPA filtration system to round up the powerful and smart aspects. More concretely, this significantly reduces dust particles that escape into thin air. The company asserts that it can achieve 99.999% of filtration efficiency.
As reported by Jennifer Pattison Tuohy of The Verge, the stick cleaner is on sale at $1,099.
The Bespoke AI Jet Ultra is now expanding to the market worldwide.
Kali Uchis is officially setting her fifth album in motion by releasing one of her latest upcoming singles, Sunshine & Rain. The dreamy lead track sets up a promising introduction to her much-awaited Long Play (LP).
In addition, the serene single from the American singer and songwriter is stimulating, soulful, and reflective. The song seems like a promise she is making to another person about staying faithful.
Uchis croons in the chorus:
“Through sunshine and rain, as seasons change, we all need somebody that makes the Earth feel heavenly. Maybe I’ll be that somebody, ’cause you’re that someone to me.”
Moreover, the latest single is part of her approaching studio album, Sincerely. The R&B artist announced her new project earlier this month on her Instagram account. It will be her debut record on her new label, Capitol Records.
There are not many details available about Uchis’ fifth album, but Apple Music shared that there will be 14 tracks.
While Sincerely is yet to drop until May 9, Sunshine & Rain is now available on every streaming platform.
