Anker is releasing its latest all-in-one Nebula X1 smart projector, the newest addition to the brand’s Nebula range. The device builds on the legacy of its Cosmos lineup, like the Anker Nebula Cosmos Laser 4k. Â
With everything it brings to the table, Anker says the X1 is its best-performing projector to date.
Cinema-Grade Outdoor Entertainment System
According to Thomas Ricker of The Verge, the portable projector uses a triple-laser light engine, which can produce a bright and crisp 4K output. The manufacturer dubs it the “perfect backyard projector for daytime and night-time use.”
In addition, it can automatically adjust to deliver an optimized image for different environments. The XI includes Spatial Adaptation, which utilizes real-time auto keystone, auto screen fit, autofocus, and auto optical zoom. Also, it has a built-in micro gimbal to increase adaptability. On top of that, the projector can tilt the output up to 25 degrees. Furthermore, it has a memory function that allows users to save settings for repeat locations.
Based on a Tech Radar article, Anker’s all-new product integrates four side-firing, built-in speakers. What makes it so special is that consumers can switch it to subwoofer mode when using external wireless speakers. Accordingly, Anker offers a separate pair of wireless speakers, which are rechargeable and last up to eight hours. When combined, the whole experience elevates as it creates a 4.1.2 surround-sound channel audio system.
Moreover, Anker boasts its newest addition to a projector, the liquid-cooling technology. It even claims to be the first in the industry to do this. Specifically, the feature helps reduce the unit size and limits fan noise to 26 dB.
At the same time, the XI has a built-in Google TV for easy access to various 4K streaming services, including Prime Video, Netflix, and Disney Plus. The projector even has an option for wireless microphones if you are into karaoke.
The Anker Nebula X1 will be on sale on May 21 for $2,999 at Amazon and Nebula US and UK.
